Texas Education Code section 21.009, added by Section 7 of Senate Bill 7 from the 85th Regular Legislative Session, requires applicants for certain positions to complete a pre-employment affidavit indicating whether the applicant has ever been charged with or adjudicated for having an inappropriate relationship with a minor.
