COVID-19 Updates and Resources
Amid ongoing concerns regarding COVID-19, the ESC-2 has cancelled all on-site training and events scheduled from now until further notice to minimize the risks of spreading the virus. ESC-2 staff will be working remotely during this time and will continue to be responsive to client needs to the extent possible. As always, the health, safety, and well-being of clients, staff, and the community remain our highest priority. Please continue to regularly check our website for further updates or resources.
We are on heightened alert in response to a current international outbreak of a virus caused by a new coronavirus. SARS-CoV0-2 is the virus that causes the respiratory disease named “coronavirus disease 2019” (abbreviated “COVID-19”). It was first detected in China, but in recent months has spread locally within the state of Texas. Read more about the background and source.
